“The Big Help Out” is aimed at encouraging people to try volunteering for themselves and join the work being undertaken to support their local areas.
We have identified a number of activities within the village that we are planning to tackle that day. All volunteers are welcome - we will meet on the village green at 10.00am.
Jobs we will be tackling are as follows:- tree trimming, deep cleaning the village Institute, putting up the signage for the defibrillator, clean and tidy the bus shelter and the phone box, tidy the grass verge edges, especially around the drains, litter picking in any areas that need it and generally ensuring that the facilities in the village are well maintained and pleasant for the use of the villagers and visitors.
It would be lovely to get as many people involved as possible, so hope to see you there on the Monday.
